Research Presentations: Research Impact and Open Science
Virtual Event – March 20th, 2025
Abstracts are now being accepted for oral presentations at the 2025 Research Impact and Open Science virtual event organized by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Musculoskeletal Heath and Arthritis (CIHR-IMHA).
Mid and early career researchers (ECRs), trainees of all levels (e.g., Masters to Postdoc), and patient partners are encouraged to submit abstracts that relate to the themes of Research Impact and Open Science. We encourage biomedical, clinical, health systems, and population health research with a focus on any body system or area of health (for example musculoskeletal health). However, submissions must demonstrate how the project is relevant to Research Impact and/or Open Science.
If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to present your research via a 10-minute virtual oral presentation at our Research Presentation session on March 20th, 2025.
Abstract submissions will be evaluated and scored out of 5 using a peer review rubric. The top six abstracts will be selected by a partial lottery process. If you would like to learn more about the partial lottery process please see the paper by Heyard et al.,. Presenters at the research presentation session will be offered an honorarium of $500 as a token of appreciation for their time. Successful applicants will be notified by March 5th, 2025.
To submit your expression of interest and abstract please visit: Research Impact and Open Science Research Presentation - Abstract Submission Form.
If you are interested in sharing your research or getting more information about this event, please see CIHR-IMHA's Emerging Leaders site.
